CBI to take over Sonali Phogat murder case

The Centre handed over the probe into the death of Haryana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and social media influencer Sonali Phogat to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The Union government has issued a notification directing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to take over the Sonali Phogat murder case. The probe agency will lodge an FIR in the case soon, sources said.
